The challenge
Make the product
easy to understand.
Linkhiv is built around a simple but useful idea: keep more of the things you copy, make them searchable and bring them back when you need them. The website needed to communicate that value quickly to Mac users who may not yet think of clipboard history as a product category.
The work called for a focused product story that could explain the everyday use case, the privacy position and the difference between the clipboard library and Clipboard Island experience.
What we changed
Put the everyday problem
at the centre.
- 01
Lead with the job to be done.
The product story starts with the friction of losing useful copied content, then introduces the features that make the problem easier to manage.
- 02
Make the product experience scannable.
Clipboard history, search, drag-and-drop and Clipboard Island are presented as connected parts of a workflow rather than as a list of disconnected features.
- 03
Keep trust close to the offer.
Privacy and local-first expectations sit alongside the product explanation, helping visitors understand what the tool is for before they decide whether to try it.
The work behind the website
A product story
with a useful next step.
Product positioning
A clearer explanation of the problem Linkhiv solves and the people it is designed to help.
Website experience
A focused route through the core workflow, features, privacy expectations and product next step.
Feature presentation
A visual and content system that makes a technical utility feel tangible in everyday use.
A clearer experience
A sharper product story
for a practical tool.
The brand and website give Linkhiv a clearer public front door: a visitor can understand the problem, see how the product fits into their workflow and choose whether to explore further.
This case study describes the brand and product website scope. It does not make a claim about downloads, conversion rate or product revenue performance.
